Comfortghan & Goodies

Here is a picture of the comfortghan that everyone made me. I just received it today. Earlier in the year I was down n' out and everyone got together to put this together for me ..

I want to thank everyone for the fine efforts in making this for me as it is just totally beautiful.

Look at the Babies

Awwwwwwww Look at the babies .. These two little precious babies belong to my LiL cousin. She is in her 20's now. But still my LiL cousin ... LoL ..

The oldest is Taylor and he will be 2 in December 2006. The smallest one is Kayden and the newest and he was just a week old in the picture which was in September 2006.

I will have updated pictures to come :D

I call Taylor my little babes and then Kayden is my Sweet Pea ... Of course they call Taylor Tator Tot ...

Ok I know I have rambled long enough .. But they live next door and are just to cute not to talk all day about :-)

Here are the latest doilies I have completed. Of course I have done a couple others but I have yet to get pictures of them. I also have a lot of Work in Progress type things that I really need to finish .. But for now these will do :)

Zoie

I am working on posting pictures of all my pets and animals for all to view. So I am starting with the newest one to come into our family. Her name is Zoie and she is only 2 months old. I weighed her today and as of 8/27/06 she only weighs 1 1/4 pounds. She is tiny. She is black with cream, tan, and gold running through her hair. She does not have one bit of white on her. She is so lovable and as long as someone will snuggle with her she is happy as can be ... LoL

The Newest Doilies ..

Well I had all these doilies started and one weekend I decided it was time to get all of them done and starched. So I took a Friday night, All day Saturday and All day on Sunday and Wala I got them all done . Woosh what a weight was lifted.. So these are only two weeks off the press and completely done and ready to be sold .. YaY

Angels

I went on an angel making spree. So as you can see I made a lot of them. I only have a couple of them left as I sent most of them to go live in new homes. I am sure they will have great homes where they are now though :-)

Critters Critters Critters

Critters Critters everywhere. LoL ..

Please meet Webster the Pig, Lovie the Bumble Bear, Kaili the Hawian Bear, and Evelyn the Bear.

Webster the pig only stands 1 3/4 inches high using size 10 thread and a 10 hook.

Lovie the bumble bear is only 2" long using size 10 thread and a 10 hook.

Kaili is a Hawian bear whose name means Hawian Goddess. She is only 2 inches tall sitting and 3 inches standing.

Then there is Evelyn named after my Grannie. She is a Scarf holder and has bendable arms to go around any scarf for the bear lovers out there like me.

Christmas Crocheting

Here is three of my Christmas Crochet Projects. These were special projects that are ran by a co-owner on one of my groups. I just love making this stuff. So diffrent and things I might normally not make.

Abraham

Abraham is named after one of our famous presidents. He was made in July in his Red, White and Blues to celebrate the freedom of America. He stands only 3 inches tall.

Slimey has arrived

This is the snail I made using size 10 thread. He only measures 1 1/2" tall. His name is Slimey. I want to make many more of these. I just really love them.

Ribbon Doily, Lone Star, & Blue Star Doily

Here are 3 more new doilies. I have one I am finshing up so not to long and it will be hositng its debut. LoL

Christmas Crochet

I have been crocheting what is called Special Projects. This is being held in one of the groups I co-own by my cowner Tj. She sends us patterns and we work on them. Been A Long Time

It has been such a long time since I have been here. I am so bad. I just totally forgot to add my new stuff. So today I will be adding a lot of diffrent stuff today to get my blog updated .. LoL

Black Bear Skin Rug

Here is my Black Bear Skin Rug made using Chenille. I made it using Black Chenille yarn and a size 9 hook. WoW what a chore. But I really love it.

His name is Ciaran which means black and mysterious.

Shocker

Yesterday it posted that I had won my first challange in one of the yahoo groups I belong to. I was in such shock. For the month of May the challange subject was MoM. For Mother's Day of course. Well any way. You will see in my Crocheted Bear catagory my bear I crocheted named Baby Mei ( pronounced May ). Well she won the challange. I was in a real big shocker. For all that see my blog that voted for me. Thanks Bunches. I really do appreciate the votes.

Then on top of all of this. My first time ever my little crocheted monkey named Valen which you can find in my blog as well. Well low and behold I was in shock to see he was on the front page of another yahoo group I belong to.

This has been such a great day.

Even if I do have a cold and not feeling up to par .. LoL

My Flower Bookmark ... I Designed The Pattern YaY

I designed this bookmark and thought it was really cute. I asked Tj to test the pattern and it worked out.. So here are our bookmarks. The one of the three Bookmarks is mine and the one of the lilac purple one is Tj's.

Lookie at DAL # 2

This doily was a DAL that I made. For those of you that do not know the term a DAL is Doily A Long. She hosts them in my group Gathering Threads. Well any way this is DAL # 2. I think it turned out so nice. Thanks TJ !!

I did it in a Dusty Country Blue. It was very quick and could easly be done in less then one day.

The Varigated Green Picot Doily

This DAL #1 from TJ and my group. Tj did the Doily DAL also known as Doily A Long. I really think this doily turned out very pretty. I don't think you can see them very well but there are picots all over the doily. Thank you Tj beautiful selection.

We just finished up a second one this week. We are doing one a week and I have to say this one is just beautiful as well. I am doing it in Dark Dusty Country Blue. It is on the drying board right now all pinned and blocked so as soon as it dries I will get pics and post them also.

Meet Valin

Meet Valin !!

Valin is from a pattern from ML and is only 3 1/2 inches tall. Yes as funny as he looks he is an AMI Monkey. His name means Monkey King. He is the King of this Monkey world here. I made him using a size 8 hook ( couldn't find my 9 ) and size 10 thread in Ecru and Brown. His Hair is using a fuzzy yarn of some kind that I had scraps of and his yes, nose holes, and mouth are using DMC floss.
